Privacy policy

Audio uploads are held temporarily in private Vercel storage, checked, and sent to ElevenLabs for transcription. The app deletes the temporary upload after processing. An hourly cleanup removes abandoned uploads older than one hour. Service interruptions can delay deletion.

ElevenLabs processes audio under its own privacy policy. This app does not promise zero retention by ElevenLabs. Only upload recordings you have permission to process.

Completed transcripts are saved in this browser. They are not synced to an account. Download important transcripts before clearing browser data or changing devices or domains.

A necessary browser cookie and a server-side allowance record enforce free-use limits. Allowance records contain a random browser identifier, job identifier, and timestamps, and are pruned after 31 days when new reservations are made. We do not use IP addresses to allocate your free allowance.

Google reCAPTCHA protects transcription requests. Its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

If you opt in, Google Analytics measures page visits and transcription outcomes, processing times, export formats, copying, and speaker-edit usage. We do not send audio, filenames, speaker names, or transcript text to analytics. You can turn off analytics using the control below. Hosting and security providers may process technical request information to operate their services.
